Ordering and Shipping
HOW TO ORDEROnline:
Unfortunately, it was no longer effective for me to keep an online paycart. But it is very easy to order from me. Just call me at 919-451-5667, or send me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide me with all item details (item number, color, size, etc.) along with a telephone number where I can reach you in case of any questions. To start this process, please email me or phone and I can talk you through it. It is quite simple and straightforward. I am looking into accepting credit card orders over the phone for the future.
FORMS OF PAYMENTI accept personal checks, cashier's checks, and money orders for phone orders. I ship all orders when payment is received or successfully processed.
WHOLESALE vs RETAILCurrently I offer retail sales only. I am looking into wholesale for the future.
SHIPPINGCurrently, I only ship in the US.
I ship all U.S. packages via USPS. I offer USPS Priority (avg. 2-4 days, largely depending on your distance from California Bay area) and USPS Express (next day). All packages over $150 are automatically insured. Orders over $150 are shipped free (Priority Mail only, not Express). See full rate chart below.
I will do my best to keep on top of orders so that you can get your purchase as fast as possible. To calculate the time it will take you to get your jewelry, take the days listed in your shipping choice and then add around 3 business days to cover my time. If there will be a delay in shipping on my end (beyond the added 3 days), I will notify you. Please be sure you have provided me with your correct shipping address and telephone number. I live in northern Califonia so you can kind of figure out the speed (or lack thereof) based on where you are.
SHIPPING COSTS GRID - USPS
I do not ship internationally at this time. I am considering it for the future.
Available items purchased directly through my website are usually shipped within 3 business days of purchase. If you've requested custom pieces made to order, your order may take a few weeks to ship depending on the style of the piece and gemstones available. If you require a rush custom order, please email or call me. We’ll talk through our options.
In case your jewelry arrives damaged:
If your item(s) arrive damaged, please keep all original packaging materials and send me an email at email@example.com or call me at 919-451-5667 for instructions.
ABOUT SOLD ITEMSIf you see a SOLD item that you like, I may or may not be able to make another similar piece. The best bet is to email me or call. It depends on whether I have the same (or similar) components.
STATE SALES TAXIf I am shipping to a location in California, I have to collect state sales tax. The rate that I have to use is the rate at my location. Since I live in Bay Area, this rate is 9.5%.
I stand behind my work. I want you to be pleased with your purchase. You can return an item for any reason within 30 days of receipt of shipment as long as the piece is in original condition. If you paid by check or money order, I will issue a check (but not for shipping). Please call or email me before returning an item.
If your jewelry ever breaks, just return it to me with all of its original pieces and I will fix it for you. All you ever pay is shipping.
I highly recommend that you read my section on how to size yourself for a bracelet and how I measure bracelet sizes. While I am happy to take a returned bracelet under the conditions described above, you will save yourself (and me) some disappointment and hassle if you read the sizing section first to be sure you are getting a bracelet that will fit. If you see a bracelet but it is in the wrong size, call or email me and I will let you know what we can do about it. I want you to be totally satisfied!
Special note regarding commissioned work and returns: if you commission jewelry, and I have to buy the materials (i.e. I don't carry those materials) in order to create work you have commissioned, I may not be able to accept a return for a refund. I will tell you up front during the process what the situation is so that you can make an informed decision about whether to go through with the commission. In the case where I have the materials on hand, I can refund the materials portion but typically not the design time. Again, we will talk about all this up front prior to your spending any money.
I do take commissions. They are a lot of fun to do and you can be as involved as you like in the design process. I often need to buy the components for a commission, though, so typically I require 50% down. Please also note my return policy (immediately above) for commissions. During the design process, I send you as many interim pictures as you like so you can feel comfortable that the design is progressing the way you'd like. That way, you can make changes, usually at no additional charge.
Yahoo is my web host. They use 128-bit encryption on a secure SSL server for their e-commerce sites. Here is a quote from their site: “Yahoo! Web Hosting allows you to share Yahoo!'s SSL secure server with 128-bit encryption so that you can protect confidential data passed between the browser and the server. SSL encrypts information while it is transmitted, thus preventing unauthorized users from accessing phone numbers, addresses, or other confidential information — very important when gathering information from your site visitors.” You do, of course, always have the option to order by phone. See above section on “Ordering” for that info.
The personal information and email address you provide will ONLY be used to process your order or to reply to your feedback. I will not share it. Period.
If you have any questions at all about the above information, or anything else on my website, please don't hesitate to contact me.
