I decided to put the "painterly" renditions of some of my wild horse images here in one place. All of these images started out as plain photographs and then I used textures and many other techniques to make them look more like paintings or drawings. There are some images that almost call out to be more like paintings in order to fully convey what I saw. All of the wild horses in this section are at Return to Freedom American Wild Horse Sanctuary in Lompoc, CA.
